• The original Morris Minor speedometer and odometer are still centre-stage on the MM2000 dashboard.

• The speedometer was professionally re-calibrated in Apr-22 (using MiniLite wheels at 28psi)

Also, there are many new features installed to enhance and extend the instrumentation and accessories:

• A hidden Sony Head Unit in the passenger glovebox is the control centre for the hidden but awesome sound system.

• Thanks to the Auxiliary Power Supply, the Stereo Head Unit memory functions are retained for up to 14 days, even with main battery isolated.  For example: Bluetooth pairings, handsfree settings, station memory, custom equalisation settings, display settings, defaults, etc.

• Dashboard LED indicator of horn operation (from either wireless horn-press on the steering wheel or the manual dashboard switch) 

• Hidden horn wireless isolation switch (under and just to the RHS of centre dashboard)

• Dashboard LED indicator of cooling fan operation (from either the automatic temperature sensor in the engine bay or the manual dashboard switch) 

• Matching set of STACK modern hi-quality gauges (fitted Jun-23):

  • • Tachometer with shift light set to 5,600rpm (peak power output 134bhp measured on rolling road in Jul-24 over the range 5500-5800rpm)

    • Electrical stepper motor gauge for water temperature (top of radiator)

    • Electrical water temperature (top of engine block)

    • Electrical oil pressure (pressure sensor mounted remotely from engine on lower bulkhead - see image below)

    • Voltmeter (switchable between main 12V battery or 10.8V auxiliary battery pack)

    • Analogue clock (wired to operate from auxiliary battery pack even when battery is isolated using switch in boot)

• Solid state voltage regulator on rear side of fuel gauge (fitted Jun-24)

• LED bulbs in main instrument backlights in centre dashboard (all except ignition light which needs to be filament type bulb to ‘enable’ alternator)
