Cooling

A thorough overhaul of the cooling system was completed in Feb-25 which included:

• Custom radiator totally rebuilt, re-cored and re-fitted in Feb-25

• New silicone hoses fitted throughout primary cooling system

• New Kenlowe 13” (330mm) extreme high performance blower fan and Revotec adjustable temperature sensor (all new May-23) with dashboard indicator LED combined with dashboard-mounted manual override switch (see details and circuit)

• Fan isolation safety switch fitted under LHS of dashboard (N.B. the fan is wired POST this switch but PRE the ignition switch and PRE all kill switches so it remains live at all times when this isolation switch and the battery isolation switch in the boot are not activated)

Other features of the car's cooling include:

• STACK electrical stepper motor gauge for water temperature (sensor mounted in hose at top of radiator)

• STACK electrical water temperature (sensor on top of engine block)

• Competition oil cooler with ducted air inlet

• Dual water temperature sensors (on engine block and radiator) (all renewed May-23)

• Louvred bonnet for increase airflow through engine bay

• Additional front under-engine air intake scoops fitted May-23 to increase airflow through engine bay
